Stevo's Homepage:

The page:

This site was created using a combination of Microsoft notepad and HTML.

Notepad could be a really good program, but it cannot load up files larger than a certain size and it would be nice if it had a function to break long lines instead of wrapping them.

Most graphics were created and edited using photoshop 4.0 which is possibly the best program I have ever used.

A couple of things which really helped me out were a document of HTML tags, and being able to directly edit the source code of impressive pages to get tips and pointers of how an impressive page is stuck together.

I opted not to use frames, as this was not the standard back in 1998 for some 2.0 browsers, and I hope this site is user friendly and easily browsable.

I have used some images and pictures that are not my own, and were just downloaded off some peoples site. I am sorry if this offended you and I have copyed one of your images, and I thank you for creating them.

I have also used some links from some excellent pages. I have used my own way of linking to those sites, I hope that I have done your sites justice, and have increased the amount of people that visit them.

This site didn't require vast amounts of coffee, alcohol, or valium, but as I did break quite a few important principles of website design, such as:
Pages should be short and to the point.
Give the user instant navigation and a way out.
Avoid the use of bright colours for text, its hard to read.
Avoid the use of blink tags. They distract the viewer from the important information.

Ok, I only used the last one right there, but the pulsar image has the same bad effect I think.

I also broke a couple of rules of html, especially by giving /p tags without the other bit. Oops.
